When I worked for BNY we had to use external headhunters to attempt to hire anyone remotely qualified. Since I've left BNY HR called me in attempts to set up an interview and didnt realize I was a former employee. The worst HR department I've ever encountered. Maybe they don't dr-g test anymore?

HR .... glorified admin team that cannot even do admin properly. Historical issue within the organisation where HR do ZERO for the employees. Comes down to HR heads not caring for fundamentals of what HR is....but prefer to suck a-s and degrade their profession.
1rzc+1eGlWKlB do not blame "diversity hire" for HR being a mess. It was a mess long before the "diversity hire" as you so eloquently and racially put it. She got what was handed to her. Sorta like George Bush Jr. handing off his mess to Barack Obama. So just stop with the polarizing comment. BNY Mellon in itself has a mess issues that are never addressed. That said, HR will not fare any better, regardless of who heads it up.
Bank finally realized that their clown manager chose to keep d-mb d-mb. Time will tell who they embraced and who they let go. Everyone who they lay-off are shining and flying higher somewhere. DO NOT GI BACK TO HE-L!

I highly doubt they called you to come back unless you applied for another position in the company and they were offering you that position . Nice try though
