There are so many great companies out there offering full time remote opportunities. I don't work on a laptop on my couch. I have a very nice home office with access to all the resources I need to productively do my job. I'm not going to spend 6-10 hours of my life every week sitting in a car wasting time and gas for absolutely no reason except to feed someone's ego. I was very excited when I got this job several years ago, but the culture has soured, benefits have been stripped away, and it's just not a good fit for my work/life balance anymore. For me, there is no benefit they can offer which I value more than time, and if they won't offer it, there are plenty of companies who will. I wish the company and my colleagues well, but I can't stay here anymore.

Get out now! I did and it is wonderful on the other side. Get yourself out of that abusive and toxic place.
Yes, I'd like to reiterate your point on how much the culture has soured. I remember so many good times in the mid 2010's. Such a shame that is all gone now. Now FD/FISV is just another KKR vehicle to strip all costs to the bone and extract wealth out of a formerly great business. Too bad.
It’s a great point. My home office has gigabit broadband with wireless WAN backup, color laser printer, multiple monitors and no COVID risk. I have no problem going in to collaborate when needed, but it’s unnecessary to commute just to sit at my desk and do the same work.
