The boomer comments are unwarranted and embarrassing to the writer. If you did a voluntary separation and it was not deemed a retirement, then you will lose it all. If it was duly notified, agree that prorated is what you get in retirement.
You should have waited until January then you could have gotten a $10,000 award
You get boomer entitlements also know as social security.
Assuming you spent 90 days active on the payroll during the year, yes, but it will be prorated.
