I may be exaggerating, but it seems so to me now that almost all of my colleagues who were really good employees have left.

It gives you a nice warm nesting ground for preparing for interviews. It pays enough to clear the bills and standard benefits. You can land a pretty good company by staying here for an year fully focused in interview prep.
