Probably a lot of these comments are posted by Blue just to stir things up. I don't know any Green people who are so arrogant and boastful. Maybe 1 or 2 but they're already gone and most Green disliked them anyhow. So don't believe everything you're reading here.

Only complaints I hear are people who may be sidelined, wondering if there is a future for them here and perhaps frustrated by the audits and oversight which they are not used to.

I can’t wait for March and see all the lame green folks still here.

And to add, most Green engineers are of the distinguished caliber when compared to inadequate Blue counterparts. Remember, one Green engineer at the associate level can typically do the job two senior level Blue engineers.

I agree, those sound the cream of the crop on the TDA side, and definitely should have been given the "distinguished" title. I know this is probably no consolation, but I am sure these are performers, and in short order, will be designated distinguished engineers.

There were only about 10 or so Princiipal Architects at TDA. This was the highest technical title at TDA. They should have been made Distinguished Engineers on the Blue side, but were made Directors/ Grade 60. The second highest technical title/grade at TDA was Sr Consultant. They should have been made 60/Directors, but they were made 59's. And so on. So everyone was moved down one notch on the technical side.

There is no technical director title anymore. We're all Senior Manager or Director. Grades 58, 59, and 60.

Well @may+1eN9HOnc I don't think this is universally so. I was a Sr. Manager on the Green side, and stayed the same, and I get that this title reflects less of an accomplishment on the Blue side. That said, all my directs (currently all individual contributors) are now also Sr. Managers.

If you are coming from the Green side, you should apply for a job on the Blue side with that title. For 99% of Green employees, they were moved down one notch. So the handful of Green Principal Architects (maybe 15 total, the equivalent of Blue Distinguished Engineer) were moved down one notch to the ubiquitous Technical Director title on the Blue side. And that was the same for basically all roles, they were moved down 1 notch.
