@7pjd+1eNHdRM laughing hard too!
Hilarious how far Pat and Intel is groveling for government money, Ohio.
Yeah let’s see how I hear that ASML, TEL, DNS, Lam, AMAT, all have central support facilities and people there. 20 billion is a little we---e fab these days, will get 2nd rate support in the middle of $hitsville, what a joke for actually real logistical support.
How sad and far has Intel fallen
Suppliers to Intel will be shaking their heads after building expensive structures and staff in Oregon and other locations. Ohio is far away and suppliers, tired of being jerked around by the arrogant losers at Intel, are going to charge them more and more out of necessity. Intel is toast.
The Yugo of chips incoming….
I guess that's one seed assignment to avoid. I wonder how many AZ, OR, and CA engineers/techs will want to live in Ohio for over a year to ramp that fab LOL.
I, for one, would transfer there in a hearbeat. I'm so sick of the West Coast whining sh__s that sit around 6 hours a day acting like victims.
More government pork.
What a sad sorry disaster Intel has become.
What’s going to fill that fab? Processors nobody wants?
Laughable, let’s pick a Midwest state with no history of technology, no infrastructure, middle of nowhere for a high tech fab. This isn’t auto this is something hard enough in places with skilled workers and Pat picks Ohio, says a lot about what sways decisions in the corner playpen.
Politics and government money trumps good business sense.
