Thread regarding GE Healthcare layoffs

No need for layoffs

With the amount of employees retiring or exiting on their own accord, really no need for layoffs - just play the "hiring freeze" card. Last 90 days have seen zone Presidents, MVP's, Marketing, PM's, service, sales, operations all leave this company in droves. Probably should spend a little less time pandering to the investment community on Linked In, and a little more time trying to retain key talent. And the rhetoric from the new USCAN Leader, while she sends meaningless postcards from her travels to the zones, isn't very inspiring. Hoping to get out myself in 2022 and get some self-respect and dignity back. It's a bummer working for a company that let's its employees down every day.

This is usual time for voluntary retirement packages. Been about 2 years since last. Maybe some will be coming to which will subsidize the layoffs.

Yup, GE Healthcare is the “craptacular”place to work that it is.

Much better Companies out there to build a rewarding career, with more pay and better employee benefits.

But hey Mr. Culp will still be getting his $250 million bonus.
