Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Frank - The d-mbest CEO I have ever worked for!

Frank implemented a non binding federal mandate that got struck down by the SCOTUS and think about all the people who lost their jobs or were forced elsewhere because of his stupidity. This didn't just happen to Fiserv but many other companies with liberal leaning leadership. Considering most people were working remotely due to the pandemic and weren't a threat to the company or anyone else, this was an absolutely id--tic implementation that brought us to where we are today. Plus, the entire return to office was ill timed due to COVID and variants. Nothing like throwing gas on a fire...

The man is incompetent and harbors no leadership skills to be a CEO. Morale is critical and it fosters respect.

I would HIGHLY recommend that people look elsewhere for employment while the market is hot and their still employed.

Just remember - you cannot get un-vaxed. Enjoy that higher change of medical issues, I guess.

There is no cure for stupidity, as displayed by the anti-vaxxing comments. You want your vaccine?? GO FOR IT!!! Its a free country!! Makes sure you believe EVERYTHING you hear on social media and the news about efficacy and the push to save humanity from the flu. PLEASE.... PLEASE... PLEASE... Make sure you do some deep reading about the side effects from this vaccine, as well as all the boosters, because there are a lot of them! Um, the side effects dont wear off and long term effects havent been properly studied.

Good luck to you and your vaccination.... Your going to need it!! You may want to carry additional life insurance from this point forward, too.

The federal contractor rule applies to people working on federal contracts, not all employees of a firm that has federal contracts.

Reducing head count was the point. Fiserv's policy has nothing to do with Federal policy, that was just being used an excuse. If they didn't have the Federal policy to use as an excuse, they would have used some other reason to get rid of people.

"How are the ruining the world, exactly? If you received your vaccine, what do you have to worry about? If you have something to worry about, then that reveals you have doubts about the efficacy of your magic potion, does it not?"

Are you are a fucking id--t? It's clear that the vaccine is not magic, it's been expressly stated time and time again by the manufacturers that it's not 100% effective. That's not the point. That's not how it works. The virus has a certain transmission rate, everyone that gets the vaccine slightly cuts back on that transmission rate. Eventually if enough people had gotten it the rate could have dropped to zero. And yeah I said could because it can mutate and has. It mutated because we let it run rampant for so long. This is the reason it's being pushing at everyone, because it isn't magic. Had it been 100% effective then we would have let you make your own decision. A decision that wouldn't impact other people. However it's not 100% effective so you are making a decision that is impacting other people. It's impossible to say if it would have actually gone away had the whole world been vaccinated, but yes by not getting vaccinated you are not doing your part to lower the transmission rate and thus "ruining the world."

"I wish all companies had mandates. The anti-vax minority is ruining the world for everyone else."

Careful about those boosters though. Someone mentioned winning the 'Hermain Cain prize". Hope you don't win the "Maddie De Garay prize".

The federal contractor mandate is not in doubt. That is the one Fiserv is relying on, not the OSHA mandate.

I wish all companies had mandates. The anti-vax minority is ruining the world for everyone else.

Well that's the reason why they just hires someone for 'corporate law and ethics' they expect lawsuits. Didn't you see the company comms?

Can someone elxplain if we (Fiserv employees) are obligated to get the vaccine still? And why- Are we bound by the “100 employees or more” rule or the “federal contractors” rule? Ty

Where do we sign up for a class action lawsuit regarding the forced vax mandate?

The choice should have never been the JAB OR YOUR JOB. Fiserv should have at least rolled back the deadline because we knew this was going to the SCOTUS.

Frank, I suggest you go back and understand the principles this country was founded on. As a leader, you do not have my allegiance and because of this you never will.

For those of you that wanted the vax and you are happy, good for you. I fully support you making a decision that you are comfortable with for your life.

I am so bloody mad at Fiserv. I don't care what the pro vaxxers say, people should be able to make this decision on their own. Between this and "unlimited" R&R change that was not properly communicated whereby I stand to lose over 200 hours, and the support issues, I hope to soon be counting the days before I start a new job at a newer higher income in a permanently remote position. I won't let the door hit me when I leave.

I smell lots of lawsuits coming from that one. Because SCOTUS just denied enforcement. And he enforced it. Can’t wait for the next round of remote work lawsuits to start. They’re cherry picking who gets forced to move and who can stay remote. And who they get rid of. Fiservs going down in flames with his RTO BS and vaccine mandates. #titanic
