I have a feeling ATT is setting up to be sold. Mark my words. 1) I don’t think there is any confidence from the ATT brass for this company to be taken over by anyone with less than 30 years of service 2) we are placing fiber everywhere which is gonna be very attractive 3) we are the only major telco that’s essentially out of the tv business. That is weird. 4) We are going back to the basics. We have gotten rid of all of the pork.

Do you think they could really find a buyer?
no way I would even think about buying att. too much dirty laundry and it is beyond repair.
They could sell the copper plant from the switch to the NID for scrap. Copper prices are high.
Starbucks is no longer requiring its U.S. workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
I pray we follow. Amen 🙏
To sell you must have a buyer. Based on the far left fringe employee base of this corporation, I can’t say anyone is lining up to make an offer.
You’re high. It won’t be sold. Best chance is getting a new youthful CEO with fresh ideas but even that’s unlikely.
All of T real estate holdings are currently for sale only to be leased back to the company where it makes most sense to do so to help drive down debt and reduce operating expenses. The company as a whole for sale, not a chance! Too big, too unionized and too much debt which makes it unattractive to would be buyers!
Some of you act like we're circling the drain. You know it's not even close to that, right?
Not T as a whole, but mobility would be a prize!!
It really doesn’t make too much sense for many if any company to buy T with so much debt and woke misdirection but count me in as a little suspicious about reaching a TBA four months early
Trust me, nobody wants to touch this toxic company. Not even that vulture hedge fund from a while back could do anything profitable with this mess of a communications company.
Frontier also dumped their TV services.
Google could buy ATT and actually deliver on their promise to build out Google Fiber and deliver on our old strategy of being an ISP and advertising company.
Our debt is our poison pill. Not going to happen until the debt is cut in half.
You bet T is for sale. If T is taken over, then the Stink gets a huge payday! It is in his contract.
You bet the Stink is rooting for a sale - the miserable B A S T A R D!

LOL. T has been "up for sale" on the New York Stock Exchange for the past several decades.
Nope, this is a very unattractive company for any buyer, especially having to take the debt too. Perhaps in a few years when the debt is down and the company is leaner AND without all the multiple types of employees and contracts.
No company or comglomerate is going to takeover a company with over 200k emplyees and very poor direction...just wouldn't happen. However, if T was trimmed down to say roughly 125k employees, then perhaps, but it would be a hostile takeover!
We have gotten rid of all of the pork.
Yeah, sure. There's how many VPs??? That's not fat, that's blubber and about as useful.
Did you watch Succession on HBO MAX? What happened to ATN there will happen to T. It is a preminition.
interesting idea....I wouldn't mind see someone like Warren Buffett or Jeff Bezos come in a straighten the place out.
good idea poster person.
Who's gonna buy this dump? T-Mobile had like 3 data breaches last year and they're still stealing AT&T customers. Lmao.
