What are you signing up for now that we all canceled DTV? And what made your selection best for you?

I have antenna TV, Amazon Firestick with Amazon prime, Hulu & Netflix, I also have the Amazon Recast which is a DVR for antenna TV. Dont miss DTV.
Starting with Klowd TV for free OAN on my Roku
How do we know what they will star charging us? Typical T poor customer service.
Hulu live tv/Netflix/Amazon prime Dtv stream is overpriced 125month!
But wait….. our employees are our greatest asset right??!!!! Do what we can to keep them happy… Oh, wait, sorry never mind…
Nothing. I get my locals over a HD antenna. Netflix for movies and whatever series they have.
Smart TVs also have multiple other options of free streaming services that I use.
No reason to pay for tv. I'd be happy with Tubi for movies, which is free, but the wife wants Netflix. So I have that one I pay for.
If I did want basic 'cable' channels, I would use Philo which is $25 a month.
Just checked with cable company, they are $25/mo HIGHER than the 25% off price from DIRECTV and with fewer channels.
Way too much money to watch TV.
No TV in 3 years.
DTV went from $10 to $137 when I retired.
They told me to disconnect for 6 months then re-up to get the new customer rate.
So I indeed did disco.
And never returned.
Horrible service, expensive and no worth the trouble.
Now I have Spectrum 100MB for internet for $4 more than my AT&T 8MB Uverse was.
FAT&T.
Netflix and sling. Stopped watching HBO over a year ago because not any quality “must see” series anymore and difficult to see what new movies (don’t care what older movie was recently dropped). Sorry stankey you did NOT know entertainment better than anyone else. I actually prefer quality over (mostly garbage or old and dated) quantity
Cancelled directtv years ago changed to Uverse, cancelled that in June now use new TV with Samsung TV it's available across all Samsung devices, amazing clarity and FREE other than internet access and cost of devices. I find no dvr, and going old school needing a schedule to watch shows I like I find a lot of free time to do other things getting away from the screen. There really is a whole world out there to explore and no covid in fresh air..lol
DTV Stream goes this week. You Tube TV. $40 less. Price increases have them back up with cable. If they would just ala carte the content, so you didn't have to buy a bunch of cr-p you never watch. I remember Stankey saying years ago the linear TV has to go.
*I turned DTV off a few years ago when we agreed my bill would be around $47 and they actually billed me around $125+.
LIARS! *
"when we agreed"? LMAO!!! You mean you misread whatever collateral was sent your way b/c every single piece of paper from AT&T has caveats about reserving the right to make changes at any time.
I tried almost all of the streaming services and landed FuBoTV. They allow you to skip commercials on recoded programs and also skip CNN. The price is about $10 more but worth not having to be forced to watch commercials.
Can I cancel DTV now, leave the dish up, and turn it back on next fall for football season? Or can you get the Sunday ticket from other providers now? (Not a joke, serious question, thanks)
at my age...throw the control tube out of the house and live life more?
Netflix, YouTube TV, Hulu.
Yeah, I got my personalized notice yesterday. I’m DTV Steam and opted out this morning. No more discount except for free unlimited DVR. Already have Netflix and Amazon. Will probably go with YouTube TV or Hulu come March.
Going with Sling, Netflix, Hulu
$10 broadband off is useless to me, CenturyLink is my local carrier.
Either Hulu Live or cable

LIARS! Cancelled immediately and went to SLING streaming.
I am very happy with the honesty, integrity, support, and service provided.
(btw, SLING is owned by Dish).
Try them out, you will wonder why you didn't subscribe earlier.
Antenna, Netflix and Apple TV.
