Yeah, and goofs like Drumgoole and Acquaro thought they could get loads of extra Microsoft stuff for free for the corporate side of the house from that deal. Microsoft's A-team sales folks bootstomped them and the idea dies from sticker shock.

I was at GED for a brief time at the tail end of Ruh's run. Was involved in an initiative with MSFT on a HUGE commit to Azure; and GTM partnership. Was an absolute gong show.
