New Testing Regime

Switching to lab tests in Feb. I presume the intent here is to require more expensive testing before transitioning from company-supplied to employee-supplied to coerce compliance? We shall see.

In Florida employers cannot charge employees for testing. Google it. 5 exemptions.

if everyone was being tested, vaxed and unvaxed, what would you whine about then???

Viral load much lower doest equal viral load not present. If it is greater than zero then you are a spreader. My God how do you people even have jobs with your double digit IQ

I would really be interested in reading the research you cite. Please provide or we can all assume YOU conducted the research yourself, possibly from twitter.

They don’t know if it is lower for vaxxed to transmit because they aren’t being tested. They should test everyone if you want to “prevent the spread”. Why are they afraid to test the vaxxed?

I am fully vaxxed and boosted and am on day 14 of being sick and on my back with covid. How will testing unvaxxed people not make me spread it. The Vax does not work plain and simple over 40% of people in the hospital with covid are fully vaxxed... you bootlickers make me sick

  • All managers got the email.
  • It's not abiding by the biden mandate - it's a policy choice that the company is making. (and many other companies).
  • The lab tests are more accurate than self test and detect smaller viral loads than self tests.
  • The new process takes out the self-reporting loophole. the at-home/self test was requiring the employee to self-attest to results, with this test, the results are reported from the lab directly to both the employee and the company.
  • The only way to completely eliminate risk of contagion is to have everyone stay home - and that ship has sailed - it's not happening. This is about risk reduction, so while a vaxxed person can also have asymptomatic transmission, the risk of that happening is far lower than with an unvaxxed person. The test reduces the risk of spread from an unvaxxed person. even then, the risk is not zero even for someone who is testing,. So vaccines reduce but don't eliminate the risk of spread, and testing for the unvaccinated reduces but doesn't eliminate the risk of spread. Levels the risk playing field, so to speak.

Someone explain the logic in testing only unvaxxed employees. Anyone can get the virus and transmit the virus. If the true intent was to protect employees, a) we would continue to wfh and b) everyone would test.

Asymptomatic testing of only statistically a small portion of your employees is an absolute waste.

Dr. Brent’s commentary is absolutely laughable at this point. I can’t believe we hired a freaking Dr. to push a narrative.

What did the email say? They are requiring a lab test instead of a rapid? Did they give details?

Wow to the bootlicker that doesn't want anyone unvaxxed to get a check. Do you even realize what a cuck you are?

What some people don't realize is that there are people, like me, who just want to get back in the office, period. I like working around people, not my desktop at home. But it shouldn't be too long now. Mid March at the latest?

@dlp+1eUNTrVZ Ok and everyone should be tested, nobody should be returning to the office, and the unvaccinated should pay for their own until such time as a more final solution can be found for them.

Start your own thread / no one cares. Company testing policy is all that's in question here.

@hwv+1eUNTrVZ Cool thanks for replying with a non sequitur. But I'll keep it simple for you too: I don't want antivaxxers receiving a paycheck anywhere, ever :) Totally fine with regular testing for the vaccinated though.

@zxj+1eUNTrVZ

I'll keep this simple for ya: do you want infected people in the office, or not? Ok then, test everyone.

This is very troubling to see them continue to honor a mandate that was made by a president with 32% approval rating.
While I am happy it’s only weekly, I sure won’t be going into an office for a loooong time.

Anyone paying attention would know the rapid tests aren’t worth a cr-p. 50/50 accuracy at best. Medical people have said that from the beginning. The only relative certainty is the lab test. Has nothing to do with expense.

It is interesting when they have already determined that the vaccines don’t work with the new variant O.

by
|
Post ID: @jqd+1eUNTrVZ

No, they should test everyone because everyone can transmit. What rates they are being hospitalized at isn't especially relevant, the only stated purpose of testing is to prevent the infected from spreading to the uninfected. Has nothing to do with vaccination status, and that, frankly, is a waste of time to discuss at this point. The new testing Regime is the subject at hand.

Why would vaxxed ppl not be required to test too?

1eUNTrVZ -I don’t think so. Are you trying to start a new vaxx/not vaxx discussion?and thanks for answering the question - there was an email about this that is still making its ways to ppl.
