I worked for aig claims for 28 yrs and was laid off over 10 yrs ago via a phone call as I had taken day off. I was a account rep., and with subsequent lay offs after me leaving, all account management was gone, and so left many of the large accounts, and in general all the good business that sustained our wc offices. Aig underwritten accounts at one time, we’re all handled by a tpa. Aig at one time was a good company to work for but has been a dysfunctional mess for a long time. Being laid off was welcomed. It’s sad to see how the company continues to treat its employees like dirt.
they won't need to layoff after sti is paid this year. a bunch of folks i know are looking forward to letting the sti $ clear the bank, then walking out the door. should be fun to watch.
They haven’t even released budgets for the year. Few areas got full funding at least in IT. They’re now more worried about the post RIF exodus than firing people given 3 out of 4 IT folks are now contractors. Watch the number of system outages continue to increase.
Claims and mms will have layoffs this year , by june
Are you on crack. There are layoffs every week.
