Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Brian and Other Boomer Bank CEOs are Completely Disconnected From Reality

"Bank of America’s CEO gets real about the labor shortage: ‘We don’t have enough people now’ and those who quit aren’t coming back"

"Moynihan said the difficulty in finding workers won’t be fixed anytime soon. He cited the decline in U.S. birth rates as a key factor in the current labor shortage. "

Are you people really complaining about having to return to the office? Give me a break! Those who work in the branches have had to work this whole time AT THE OFFICE and dealing with all these challenges while y’all worked in your PJs!

BM is saying that there is a labor shortage to also hire more people from India. This CEO think he is slick by saying this. I hope he steps down or resigns from his post. He has done an absolutely shlitty job in the last 2 years in his handling of the RTO and maintaining the health and safety of employees . I hope a fuhking dothead takes his job and renames the company Bank of India.

"“The population growth rate has fallen in half during the last decade and we just don’t have enough people now,” Moynihan said."

Since when is the bank hiring folks under 10 years old? What a Twit..

Our ivy league CEO BM blames the labor shortage on declining birthrate. This guy is a fcuking mo--n. The real reason why there is a labor shortage is the low azz pay here at this shlithole company. Furthermore, you don't give a rats azz about the health and safety of your employees. Please get these things fixed and do your FCUKING JOB AND THERE WON'T BE A SHORTAGE. ALSO COME OUT OF YOUR BUNKER AND LEAD THE COMPANY LIKE A REAL LEADER!!!!

They will never retain and attract top talent with no flexible working arrangements. Plain and simple.

Bank is fcking stupid for not giving hybrid option while asking employees to be back….Bank needs to come to reality before it gets too late.
Nobody would want to work for such company that are rigid and force policies on employees. This old mo-o tradition of working from office - 5 days a week need to stop. Who are we kidding that work can only be done in office, we all have seen from past 2 year’s. Brian is a stupid guy who is living by old delusional working scenes. Someone need to put some sense in him….nobody want to be sitting next in cabin to people who are coughing while covid is there and people will leave eventually.

Heard from multiple friends of mine who work from BAML that they are having tremendous difficulty recruiting talent due to their stance on remote work. The C suite is aware and is exploring the idea of offering a hybrid schedule for most teams. Any company that refuses to adopt a remote and/or hybrid option will not survive moving forward. The world has changed and things will not ever go back to the were before.

I told you mofos that they weren't laying anybody off. They don't have enough people here to layoff and can't find mutherfuhkers to work here. This company is one big shlithole and mismanaged by so many inexperienced, incompetent leaders. This company needs to start paying a decent cost of living salary for people at the bottom . Employees will continue to do a half a-s job and leave when something better comes along. I don't care if the company did 32 billion last quarter . Some of that money needs to trickle down to the front line workers. Instead we have these coward azz leaders holding conference calls from their basement.
