Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

No layoffs coming anytime soon

Too many jobs to fill as it is. Not enough people want to put up with the grind. LG1+ roles don't have enough bodies to fill. Sad day for the suits. Huge talent void as older generation leaves.

Soon you ask? Perhaps they were just holding their breath until after the SB Halftime show and commercials. Now let's get to axing heads! If you've been around long enough, you will remember the V-Day massacre from about 10 years ago. Then again, they might be changing it up a bit and making head chopping not so obviously timed. There's too many LG1's hanging out & trying to look & sound important.... trying to get that big fat bonus for outstanding volume & market domination....all from the sweat of the Frontline employees. Instead, they should really slim down those salaries & bonuses so they can hire and retain good people. Bet the LG1's will see way more than a 1-3% raise, unlike many.

They are realizing how bad the outsourced departments are doing. You get what you paid for.

They're doing a good job of not having career plans for non-diverse folks. PepsiCo has always been good at just letting highly motivated people sit in a role with minimal conversation until they leave on their own accord. Two ways to hit that scorecard. Let the good ones leave and create more new roles to hit the #.
