I have been looking for a new job for almost 5 months now. I'm already getting a little worried that I'll have to stay here for a long time, but I don't want to accept a smaller pay just to get out of here. Who is still here just because they haven't gotten a good offer yet?

Sorry they are paying you so much that you have to stay because other companies aren’t offering better. Must be tough to be paid so well.
Go start a side hustle that you actually enjoy and make something for yourself other than a corporate salary. Job hoppers a plenty in O&G
