I wish we spent more on chief medical officer’s organization. Dr Brent should get at least 1k FTE to hire.
I also think think we need to double or triple the size of the chief diversity officer’s group.
These need to be our key areas of focus in 2022. Agreed?
COVID is here to stay, folks. It may get better, but it may get worse, too.
I don't know if WF needs a dedicated doc, but it's not a bad idea.
If the virus continues to spread, it's going to mutate.
It may get less lethal, it may get more lethal.
Things like that would impact investments.
And WF has investments, right?
You would also want people who understand international relations, the state of the world, the weather (shipping, crops, livestock), tax law, government regulation, not of just banks, but how laws impact business...
Good to know the folks who knee-jerk a rant here have put so much thought into their comments.
Ok so you can't provide the source, because it's a lie. Thanks for clearing that up.
A lot of Kool aid drinkers in WF! No wonder it's become such a horrible place to work at. All these antivaxxers / conspiracy theorists / qanon lovers should go pick up their Hermann Cain Award. It probably is a cult after all.
We sure do have a lot of bootlickers working here. Spineless cowards
@1zdq+1eYQj5Jp Brilliant, Dr Brent is now Dr Burt on this forum, like Charlie is chainsaw, Shart, etc Let us all start his new nickname.
What does this guy do for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week? Heck, he can't doesn't even have time to shave, looking at his company photo!! I want his job.
Dr. Brent is following orders marvelously
great guy! never met him
Nah, you clearly aren't mentally there enough to make those kinds of decisions. Lol your "facts" aren't even that- just half baked, citationless assertions.
We've gone back and forth with you mo--ns on here for a long time about those points, while you debate in bad faith with your made up studies, never for an instant acknowledging you're basing your "decisions" (for lack of a better word), on information that isn't real.
If you're still believing this sh-t in January '22, nobody is talking you back to reality. So I'm really just here to belittle you because I don't view you as a full human being with free will worthy of respect.
Great guy, never met him
Let me say it yet again because people keep saying it here. If you think people against this mandate are anti vax, then you truly are an id--t.
This is about forced compliance and has absolutely nothing to do with your health.
If it were Wells would remove all candy and unhealthy foods from the vending machines.
Guy who can't accept reality doesn't see need for psychological help
Unsubstantiated Covid talking points are boring and irrelevant to the corporate waste and inefficiency of creating unnecessary executive positions. Should we also bring on a chief psychological officer for those whose brains are broken over debating the Covid narrative?
Let’s see where to start
“Jabs do not prevent Covid” - they actually do reduce by around 40% with omicron and more effective against other variants
“Masks completely ineffective” - cloth masks are only around 10% effective, N95/KN95 around 50%
“PCR tests inaccurate” - nothing is 100%, with labs testing rapid tests that are negative, accuracy increases highly
So take off your tin foil Alex Jones and get with the program
Where did they publish his salary and who said the chief medical officer position was temporary? This is a bank, not the starship Enterprise. The role is redundant to existing HR, consultants and government viewpoints that leadership already receives. CMO is just more corporate bloat, and I would be pi---d if I owned any shares.
Antivaxer doesn't understand something, news at 11 lol. Look, if you're going to act like a child, you're going to be treated like one.
But I agree, this shouldn't have to be done. Just get rid of the antivaxers and we wouldn't have to employ people to give basic medical advice.
I don't think its a waste of money what they're paying him, its not forever either. It makes sense to have a medical doctor on board and not have some WF executive who knows finance or corp credit being the expert on health related matters for employees.
Weak response. If they are not going to listen to Fauci, CDC or their own doctor, is Dr. Brent going to change their minds?
Given that there are actual antivaxers still employed here-yes, apparently some employees DO need to be given medical advice
For the smooth brain who downvoted the preceding comment, please explain the value add of hiring Dr. Brent. I would love to hear the rationale.
What a joke that a financial firm now has a chief medical officer. It is a waste of corporate resources, particularly when the rank and file are under constant expense pressure Do we really need to pay Dr. Brent to parrot CDC guidance and tell us it is good to get enough sleep and exercise?
'Dr. Oz' has no credibility working for WF when jabs do not prevent covid, ALL masks are ineffective, and PCR testing is inaccurate (FACT, not conspiracy). eat healthy, take supplements including a,b,c,d3, zinc etc, and and don't fall for the fear factor. This is completely about control, and I will not comply.
