Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Looks like no layoffs....ugh

My request to be laid off has been turned down again :(

Apparently nobody wants to work here....and people are quitting in droves. The only reason I'm staying is I can't quite bring myself to walk away from $200K+ in RSU. Although I am trying to negotiate a signing bonus at a new place to offset the loss.

Do any of you guys have any advice? I can't be the only miserable person in this type of situation.

Won't be any layoffs until spring, which is likely this time.
Companies very rarely lay off in Nov/Dec.

I wouldn't leave until the next group of RSU's vest (2/25/22), bonuses are paid (end of Feb 22) and/or the current ESPP period ends (3/31/22).

Cashing out my piddly yearly RSU and bouncing. They can keep what hasn’t vested.

Do like me. Wake up. Go to work. Come home. Get paid.

I'll believe you have $200k in RSUs when me sh it turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet.

This is only the 14th time you've posted about this up here and it doesn't get any more believable.

Wait for SMRA to crash. That’s the layoff bucket.
