Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Happiest day of my life

Finally left this terrible company today. Never been happier to leave something behind. And to all the senior management that I assume lurk on this site:
You are out of touch with the real world. You are out of touch with your workforce. Only letting those with college degrees join your ranks has been your downfall. They have no idea what it is to control and manage groceries. You have certainly ran a once decent place to work in the ground. It wasn't covid, it wasn't because "people don't want to work anymore", it wasn't any other reason at all. It's you and only you. I only hope you learn a hard lesson by what your indifference, arrogance, and just plain stupidity has created. GOODBYE FOREVER!

Share price doesn't mean much. Isn't most of the growth from buying up other companies around the world and not so much about the only place we do dsd, In the U.S.

The unprecedented growth, as you call it, comes at a price. Open your eyes! It WAS once all about profit, but things have evolved, FINALLY! Its called creating a happy work place. Mondelez management has no idea how to create that, so out of touch with what goes on! People are treated like dirt while managers are out getting wasted, on the corporate credit card. The culture is gross and the morale is beyond at an all time low. My former co-workers I still keep in touch with and my heart bleeds for them. It's nothing short of abusive how these people are talked to! PT employees scheduled for 18 hour days by I deploy.....really? Do these people even have a clue? apparently not!
If you call that a success, I think in the long run you will see things take a downturn! Like looking at Chinese sweat shops and bragging about profits even though human rights violations are rampant. If getting a schedule that requires someone to work 18 hours in one day is a success I must be missing something.

Our share price tells a different story. Hardly a downfall. You should hold your head up high and be proud that you were able to contribute to the growth of the organization. We have had unprecedented growth in the last 5 years thanks to your hard work and dedication. Mondelez is truly a great place to work and I am proud of each and every one of you. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
