If you are nearing 50 you need to be looking for a new job because once your age starts with a 5, you have a target on your back. Not that there's anything to stay here for. the company is poorly run with incompetent management on all levels. Add to that the toxic culture that'll destroy your mental health, and I really think that everybody should be on their way out.

Sure, if you have decades with the company, and you invested wisely in your 401K, you can have millions. That doesn't mean the company made you a millionaire, you made yourself a millionaire. I know a lot of people leaving the company with a million plus. Staying with a sinking ship is your choice. Just hope the ship doesn't run out of lifeboats before you go down with it.
Do not believe that you can't get a good job at 50+. You definitely can! If you have a skill that another company desires they will take you in a heartbeat. In my area, technicians are leaving in droves and getting better paying jobs with growing companies, and most are well into their 50's. Many have multiple job offers on the table. I will be leaving very soon myself.

I would think with millions, if that is indeed the case, that you would have better things to do than be here.

Folks, there is absolutely zero benefit 8n staying with this company, you would help your family the most(because of better benifits) then you would help your quality of life by leaving tomorrow. No not in a month, leave tomorrow, you'll thank me thereafter for the pressure that was just lifted from your shoulders. This company does not have your back and would watch you float face down in a flood.

If you work at xerox at all, you have a target 🎯 on your back. Don’t kid yourself. Xerox is not the place you want to be. Whatever the cost. Can you put a price on your sanity? Nope.
50's is the unspoken cutoff for pretty much every industry, you really don't have too many options. Make sure your debts are paid off, 401K maxed out and are in good health, dig in and brace for impact. Minimize risk. You will have an extremely hard time to find a job in the same range, geographic area or industry, and if you apply for something less, you will be disqualified for being overqualified.
