Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

The Reason RTO Release was flipped

I posted this as a comment, but decided to put it as a mention so everyone who is confused on the change of order for RTO can see the post.

The change in order has nothing to do with customers and collaboration as they have been spouting for the last 22 months, as CF naturally would be the first ones to return. It has everything to do with vax vs non vax statuses. NCF roles are vax at much higher percentage rates than CF roles. They want someone in a seat come 1/10 they don’t even care if it’s the wrong group based of customer interaction. They want to tell the board and shareholders someone came back. Do not believe what they are saying. The flip in RTO is only due to the percentage of vaccination. They are not even sure how they are going to bring CF back at this point that is how low the rates are. They were absolutely shocked at how low the rates were, which is crazy to me bc typically NCF roles education requirements are higher. There is definitely a correlation to education levels and vaccination rates. The fact it took them to Dec to realize the correlation is insane to me but here we are. As a result they scrambled and change plans last minute. It caught management completely off guard. It’s hard to manage communications with middle of the night decisions are made.

@1oft+1ehuaBrq, and yet the folks in those states refuse to ask themselves why that might be. Check out these death rates (and they're all Red states except for the states with large metro areas).

COVID rates are highest among Red states and supporters of the Florida resident though your talking heads on faux news and your QAnon Facebook sites would never tell you that.

I'll let you in on a little secret - its easier to let the customer facing people go when they are WFH. They just disappear. With up to half of the branches closing in the next few years, they need to wipe a lot of those employees off the books. Since many of them don't have constant connection with the office people, it makes less of a splash in the news. Local news will report on bank closings or changes, some may come here to vent, but it wont have the same impact as laying off 5k office employees on the same day.

The VAERS site has had its warning at the top for a while now...even before COVID. And it was not being abused and misreported like it is now, so that's why "it was never a problem".
IVM is on the WHO list as an anti-parasitic. Thats why its there. It's funny that you bash the WHO most of the time except when it fits what you need.

The rest is propaganda and drivel, and the same Russian talking points that have been here. Wear a mask, get a vaccination and care about someone else for a change.

Then explain why VAERS data seems so consistent with the data direct from Pfizer that the FDA was forced to release by the courts. For months you were saying "VAERS data is allllll fake!" (which has never been a significant issue with the system before, but hey, why let that prevent some good slander?), then Pfizer's own documents showed deaths were UNDER reported in VAERS. Do you really expect me to believe that the company selling a dr-g and making billions and billions of dollars on it is over reporting the deaths it has caused? Really? That's the answer? Their own data showed 1200 deaths in the first 90 days of deployment. So I ask again, is Pfizer lying to the government / courts? It wouldn't be the first time, but it would be the first time they did it counter to their own financial interests. They are a rogue company. They have lied in court, and been caught. They have bribed doctors, and been caught. They have obscured research data from the government, and been caught. They are 100x more corrupt than WF could even dream of, and you've joined their chruch and believe everything they say.

You expose yourself as a mouthpiece for big pharma as soon as you say "horse paste". I've read all 70 of the studies done on IVM for COVID. Have you? Did you know that the dr-g was designed for humans, and the creators won the Nobel Prize for it? Did you know that the biggest studies done on IVM overdose safety show that there's less side effects than Tylenol? Did you know it's on the WHO list of Essential Dr-gs (for humans)? Did you know that all 16 studies done on the prophylactic use of IVM showed significant benefit? Did you know the benefits of the dr-g have nothing to do with vaccination, meaning that it provides benefit whether you choose to get vaccinated or not? You've been told that 'theres no evidence', when there obviously is. You've been told a bunch of people in OK OD'd using the veterinarian version of this dr-g, and that never happened. You've been lied to, time and again, because big pharma would rather see thousands and thousands of people die rather than jeopardize the massive profits they will see from vaccines. Being lied to isn't a crime, but perpetuating those lies is clearly immoral. I challenge you to read the studies for yourself and decide, but it's pretty clear that you won't. Instead of reading actual research data, you'll check Snopes and local news website 'fact checks' to learn 'the truth'. BTW, did you see that in court bookface admitted that their fact checks are 100% opinion pieces? Breaking news, that's the truth for all of them.

Any way you cut it, optically, the decision to flip the order of RTO to favor customer facing (widely unvaccinated) while throwing back office staff (vaccinated) under the bus sends the wrong message. Ultimately, Wells Fargo is rewarding negative societal behavior by allowing the group with fewer vaccinated members to remain home while the rest of us are punished for being adults and doing what’s right. This was the long game. Customer Facing employees ultimately won. They figured it out. They realized that they could cripple the organization, so they opted to not get vaccinated or report their status accurately, and Wells Fargo caved. Bravo. The inmates run the asylum.🤦🏻‍♂️

@ghh+1ehuaBrq -There's no proof that they did have those credentials, either, that's the point you are again and again failing to grasp. These are as verifiable as bigfoot attacks or rotten tomato scores for Disney movies. I don't know why you have such a chip on your shoulder when it's clear as day you have severe reading comprehension issues, like most antivaxers.

https://www.wnct.com/news/north-carolina/fact-check-setting-the-record-straight-on-claims-about-vaccine-hesitancy-among-ph-d-s/

From that same link:

**"“We found that people basically used it to write in political … statements,” King said. “So they weren’t genuine responses. They didn’t really complete the survey in good faith.”
...
"People taking the survey were on the honor system, with no way to make sure people who claimed to have Ph.D. degrees actually have them."**

Oh uh, let's see if Einstein was able to read the disclaimer on the VAERS site, too: https://vaers.hhs.gov/data.html

"VAERS accepts reports of adverse events and reactions that occur following vaccination. Healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and the public can submit reports to the system. While very important in monitoring vaccine safety, VAERS reports alone cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable. In large part, reports to VAERS are voluntary, which means they are subject to biases. This creates specific limitations on how the data can be used scientifically. Data from VAERS reports should always be interpreted with these limitations in mind."

Just because you've learned to parrot the words of people who understand science does not make you one of them, stay in your lane with your horse paste. Re--rd.

You don't really care about science anyway, so you can stop with the charade.

Yeah, I'm not reading anything from the NY Post and won't comment on that article's veracity, though scientists have always said COVID vaccines may not be effective for some variants. Kind of like the annual flu shot, eh?

“ Researchers, however, said the findings should “press home the message that those who are offered booster vaccination should take it.”

“Whilst there is no evidence for increased risk of severe disease, or death, from the virus amongst vaccinated populations, we must remain cautious, as greater case numbers will still place a considerable burden on healthcare systems,” said Gavin Screaton, head of the university’s medical sciences department and lead author of the paper.”

Also, nice fact check link. Cliff's Notes: 'someone may have lied about their education, so ignore all the data.' That is a supposition without substantiation. So long as we're making things up to fit a narrative, I heard that militant vaxxers were filling out the survey pretending to ve no-diploma types that are anti-vax. Wow, you're right, this IS fun.

Good grief.

Do you really want to bring up VAERS after what Pfizer's own data showed in court? Probably best if you sink back into the bushes Homer. For those that haven't seen it, court order-released docs showed 1200 dead in the first 90 days of Pfizer vax deployment. It would appear that VAERS is accurate, and by accurate I mean under reporting like it always has with every dr-g since it was launched.

Lol nope, you fell for fake news…yet again. That study was completely on the honor system, so you had a lot of Dr Facebook types self reporting as phd’s and writing in bizarre political rants that tipped off the researchers: https://www.wnct.com/news/north-carolina/fact-check-setting-the-record-straight-on-claims-about-vaccine-hesitancy-among-ph-d-s/

It’s about as accurate as those VAERS numbers manipulated by the same kind of bad faith antivax liars. Total junk.

It is true that vaccination rates go up as you climb the education ladder, hitting a high at the master's level. What often isn't reported however is that at the JD and PhD level "vaccine hesitancy" spikes such that PhDs are actually the most 'hesitant' of any group, even more than people with sub-HS diploma levels of education. Carnegie Mellon University study. Check it out.

What about that piing off a bunch of NCF and them quitting will be a negative for their remaining coworkers but will be a boon $-wise for WFC bottom line and generally not felt by customers. Piing off a bunch of CF WILL be felt by the public along with more negative PR. Example is how long our help desk wait times have become and us complaining about it here. All about external perception. Just my gut feeling.

@wwn+1ehuaBrq you all are expecting bonus eligible employees to leave with less 30 days to payout bc of RTO? RTO
Is 1/10 MLK holiday is 1/17 plus New Years is a floater this year. I’m doubtful anyone is walking away from thousands of dollars for 3 weeks of work.

@zln+1ehuaBrq op, I am not shocked at NCF rates being higher at all. The shocking part is top leadership was actually expecting CF to be vax at higher rates!! Like how much do these people make a year? you would think common sense would be more common. But then those survey results showed what the news has been saying all year that college educated Americans are more likely vaccinated and people in urban areas are more likely vaccinated. The rushed email saying it switched honestly highlights how clueless they actually are!

Yes, that played a part, but only a part (and I’m in HR). Most operational staff at lower levels like call center staff are not discretionary bonus eligible. The anticipation is that those who are and who will now be coming in early will resign (even if in small numbers) due to RTO and before the bonus payroll period closes on 1/28/22 (with bonuses paid 2/4). Double win. Don’t have to pay severance or discretionary bonus and decrease expenses!
