Stop hating on CVS and put your Hate where it belongs , your leader ! The only way to achieve change is to do what is necessary to have poor leadership removed .

Bad leadership starts at the top. PM and SM just have the misfortune of having to enforce these horrible policies that are ki----g this company. I wonder with these stores closing and their scripts being pushed off to other stores, if the stores absorbing these will get any more payroll hours with the increased foot traffic…probably not but I have no idea. I’m just using this as an example of our company’s corporate greed. Our company is too top heavy for example our CEO Karen makes $11,307,916 a year, it should be no surprise that we are a failing company, that gives stores too little payroll to be successful, and cannot retain talent.

Anyone with talent that was not an Rph ran from this company years ago. You are left with pharmacists with no business IQ or leadership qualities. Good luck.

I disagree.. there really aren't many great store managers. Don't get me wrong.. They are good people and work hard but they can't manage another person or adapt well.

Just an FYI... Poor leadership comes down from the top. Why do think there are horrible DL's? And then bad regionals, and so on. This is because of the absolutely insane pressure coming from corporate to meet metrics, at any and all costs. Change needs to happen at the executive level, as they are so out of touch with reality at the stores, it's not even funny. That said, there are alot of good store managers at CVS. Not so much for DL's and above.

Do bad leaders need to go? Yes, absolutely. But just remember where those bad leaders are getting their marching orders from... Corporate. Bad leadership starts at the top.
