Another TDA leader has had enough. Such a shame...

Well not like he is leaving Schwab poor and with no opportunities.
@1fin+1elD72GC go back and read all the posts. There's just as much wicked and immature posts from Blue as Green. If not more.
It’s the self-righteousness for me…
Some of the comments by Green people here are just wicked and show a great deal of immaturity. People resorting to using disability slurs are immature, mean and not deserving of respect. I find it hard to believe adults are posting here. This is something you learn is wrong in elementary school and then you correct your behavior.
I am Green and saying that.
As the Blue poster wrote, there are decent employees and technologists on both sides and hopefully that majority prevails on both sides and can treat each other with respect and get the job done. Good luck to all in pursuing that goal.
@1qnn+1elD72GC agreed. Most that I know had high hopes and were truly excited to move over to the blue side. I'm not sure if blue was threatened, jealous or what. Both sides could have helped each other, but Blue didn't want any of it. They still don't. Leadership might, but it's not trickling down. There is just so much animosity at the lower levels.
Blue never showed any respect to Green. They were so insecure, wagons were circled. Doesn’t matter at this point, green moving on to better opportunities. No one in the industry has any respect for what remains.
I knew we had it good at TDA under Vijay and his leadership team, but never fully understood how good until moving over.
Tom will be missed along with many others who have moved on.
Blue associate here. There obviously is a lot animosity here. I sense most of it is Green. I get it. You guys are in bad position, you don't like Blue leadership, and you feel Green leadership is just being forced out. Obviously some of which you have a great respect for.
I've said this before here. I have worked with both brilliant Green and Blue staff alike. Sure, there are knuckle heads, there are slackers, and you get the occasional folks with attitude. But overall, I have had a positive experience. Maybe in world, I feel everyone is just doing the best they can, heads down trying to meet their goals, and marching towards the common good of the firm. Whether we will make the final deliverables on time, and successfully with CD1, who knows right.
But the journey that we take, how we take it together, how we treat each other is very important to me. Respect. Courtesy. Professionalism. All of that goes a long way to having a happier life, and better work environment.
Anyways. Want to wish both my Blue and Green colleagues happy holidays! Be well.
Man this announcement really irked me today as he was the last good leader. The STS leadership is such a joke. So unpolished and clueless. I don’t blame him though…
If the man trying to bring a better associate experience feels the need to jump ship, I'm guessing blue gives a rats a-s about the associate and will just go and buy another company to restock their technology department when attritions leaves no one left.
With Tom leaving, who is going to put Huss in a corner for his tantrum timeout?
Fully agree. This used to be a decent board with generally somber discussion and no or extremely rare insults either way.
Scarpati just dropped the Mic.....problem is Simon won't know what to do with it.
Ouch! That big blue door hit my green a-s on the way out. The 24.7% total comp increase, $475K sign on bonus (basically got paid out my unvested RSUs on day 1) allows me to buy a bag of ice to soothe the bruising. I'm real sad to no longer be part of an org that is the laughing stock of the tech industry. Every vendor I speak to continues to entertain me with stories of how Schwab continues to reach new levels of dysfunctionality. There is no peak to the mountain of medicority y'all are climbing. Dennis is your Sir Edmund Hillary and Tim is his re--rded sherpa.
If Blessing goes, so goes 3 of the big 5. Probably the other two as well since they depend on the other 3. 2022 is going to be fun to watch 🍿.
You could have cut 1/2 of Schwab blue tech and the TDA folks could have picked up the slack (no pun intended). But not the other way around.
Scarpati reminds of Scallops. Tom Scallops. He's moving on to Fish n' Chips. HAHAHAHAAHAHA. The destruction of Green. Don't let the door hit you in the rear on the way out. LMAOF.
Vicious? You ain't see vicious yet. Cant wait to see the twitter feed when the remaining dopes in STS can't recover from a trading outage when all this tribal knowledge has left. Pull your money out now kids.
That's exactly what Schwab STS is...a pit of mediocrity.
I love the added “To pursue another career opportunity outside Schwab”.
Way to go Tom! He did a lot for TDA, and made the workplace technology experience really exceptional. I’ll miss him, but don’t blame him one bit and I’m glad he found something better. All the best!
A lot of his green directs already left and moved on to better jobs. Just a matter of time before we all do.
Funny how happy some of my blue counterparts sound. Like pigs wallowing in a pit of mediocrity.
What a terribly vicious place this is becoming. Or has it become?
Woohoo. So glad that he has left. We need more Green to leave. YESSSS!!! YESSSS!!!!
Wild… and yes, a definite shame. Good for him though. I’m sure his holidays will be especially relaxing.
My money says a lot of his green direct reports will follow suit.
TDA infrastructure and workplace technology is running on hopes and dreams at this point.
Of course. Tom too smart to tolerate Dennis and his army of dopes. Dennis mentions how he valued Tom's counsel. Total BS, Dennis ignored every word. It's all on Simontard and his army of yes-tards. No one from TD is staying, they are too smart to tolerate the dummies. This wasn't about quitting or losing, this was about not having to tolerate the low level of intelligence that is STS.
When is Blessing leaving?
