Sure sounds like somethings up. But keep hearing that RDR says no changes. Does seem weird that they mentioned Feb so openly. Normally it is a complete surprise. Hope something happens to sales. Current atmosphere is miserable.

It has been quiet, my DM used to mention his boss (RDR) in every email and now I haven't heard her name in months.
They have reduced the sales force by 20 percent every year the last years. They just make territory bigger
I second the BS call. They only do whats best for them, which means keeping things quiet until they want you to know. Like what was said, they don't want to jeopardize things, they already have enough issues with employee retention. Our team is a revolving door and the RMS is pathetic, takes no accountability. No training. No communication. Expects SR to do their work, NOT ME. No thanks. When it comes to merchandising issues my GM etc have the RMS on speed dial.
Cheerleader is right. They are not layoffs, they are terminations. And they did give the 2 factories a subtle hint of possible closures shortly before official announcement.
I call B S
Seems to have quieted down. Anyone hearing anything?
Of course your RDR is going to not say much. Your RDR doesn't want a mass exodus of workers. Its easier to make a slow transition because it limits service disruptions.
