For months now, no one has taken the place of my colleagues who are now in other companies. Does it seem to me or is this company no longer backfilling positions?
This is becoming a really miserable place to work. I am currently doing work for 3 or even 4 people and I am very interested in how they think that the job I normally do will be done when I leave soon. . .

Dehumanizing. Kind of like not one word about the virus, variant? Morally obscene. Unrecoverable actually.
Neville, the first step toward workforce retention is to stop referring to people as “headcount”. When we lose a valued friend due, in part, to our conduct or a loved one moves away, we do not say, “I need more headcount.” It is dehumanizing.
Changing the impersonal, insensitive, HR “human resource” model starts by looking in the mirror as leaders. Refer to your valued employees the same way you would want your leaders to refer to you.
I've lost 3 over the past year. One was fed up and quit. One left due to not being allowed to work remote and quit. A third decided to retire early.
I've not been allowed by execs to open refill headcount.
Oh hey, hi, yeah, I hit the point of just logging in this month. Realized that work is not rewarded. You’ll get tons of Magenta Love out of me though. But other than that, it’s bare minimum until I can get tf out of here. F*** this place, leadership deserves to see it wither and die.
Maybe you ought to look at your colleagues who are still on board but not holding their weight. I know half a dozen people who just log into their computers in the morning and is MIA the rest of the day.
TMob is having a hard time finding people because they have p*ssed off so many. The work environment was toxic to begin with and now with the addition of Sprint, they are even more toxic. They should have thought about keeping the good quality workers to begin with instead of keeping the ones that are in the "club".
We keep hitting sales goals every quarter. If this broken train keeps chugging along they will not make new investments, including backfilling positions.
I think they are having a hard time finding people willing to come on board. There are more attractive job conditions available, especially in the competitive Business sector, which good workers are moving towards.
