Tick Tock. Only one week until the unvaccinated are let go. Getting nervous?

Ford salaried employees, if you weren't vaccinated when Ford announced the requirement, have you done anything? Gotten the jab? Requested an exemption? Applied for other jobs?

If not, does your family support your decision to lose your job next week?

If OP is a Ford employee and not a troll, and they work in one of the old line areas, no matter what their vax status is they might be in for a rude surprise when they are let go by end of 2nd Qtr 2022.

Those Ford employees that work as software engineers, with BEV and or AV platforms , or in related technical areas related to vehicle data will be kept regardless of vax status, as Ford can’t get enough of those people as they have choices and better pay elsewhere.

Going to be a sh---y year 2022 is for most Ford employees no matter where they work as they are going to work more and harder to carry the load for those that are forced out. The filly vaxed should not be so smug ax the bell is going to tell, and they aren’t going to be spared just because they got the vax…

I'll be smiling when people with the mindset like the OP are working harder with no extra pay doing my assignments for me when I'm on my 30 day break from the company.

Sheez, it's currently a potential of up to 30 days unpaid leave for not being "fully vaxxed" by Jan 18th (or whatever the latest delayed date is) or having been given an accommodation/medical exemption. It's not a case of "Sorry, Charlie" soon as the holiday break ends.

And at this point of time my attitude is that my personal choices ain't none of your, Ford's, Biden's or Fauchi's business.

By the way, what exactly will anyone else gain once the unclean — err, unvaccinated - are gone? Will your risk of contracting Covid decrease? No. Your risk of dying when you contract it? No. Will your paycheck increase? Your bonus? Anything?
