Has anyone heard of claim and mms layoffs after end year reviews are done?

There will still be WC Claims handled by AIG. However, this will impact Adjusters, MMS and Client Service Reps, that will not be needed at AIG and will not be transferred to GB. More news on this will be forthcoming at end of Feb or beginning of March. Have your resumes up to date.
Agreement has already been reached to transfer some (if not the majority) of the WC claims to GB, so it is inevitable that layoffs will occur for WC adjusters, Staff Counsel, MMS, WC client service reps, etc.
Work comp work going to GB this year so claims MM S will have layoffs at some point
We avoid layoffs between mid February and end of March, if possible. It gets messy with the year end processing. Then attrition takes over. Whatever layoff list exists, gets revisited because of the attrition. By May, ready to pull the trigger again.
Again, not 100% they way things work out in all areas, but this is typically the approach.
