Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Where tf is our bonus?

This email from Brian Moynihan is so vague. Are we really not getting a cash bonus this year? The email mentions stocks. I’d much rather have a cash bonus. I hate it here!

It's obvious that some salary workers on this board have no clue that there are hourly workers who aren't compensated the same. The bank has given shared success cash bonuses for several years now. This year that is not happening because they are giving restricted stock units. So no, the employees who are not eligible for year-end cash bonuses (some B6 and lower) will also not be getting the shared success year-end bonus in cash.

We (everyone I know personally) got both the stock bonus and year end cash bonus. The cash bonus will be paid in the 2/15 pay. The stock bonus in March. The email from Moynihan never said there wouldn’t be the usual cash bonuses.

You can get your bonus when you go back to the office.

Would have been nice to have the choice of how we wanted that payout. But still another way to get people to leave without paying severance. Just remember employees are not at the top of the food chain. The Shareholders are.

Updated my resume today. Plenty of jobs out there that nobody needs to put up with this place any longer.

This company is the worst. I hate everything about it. The shlitty raises every year, incompetent leadership, no work life balance and the flagshlit postings everyday. This company really think people here happy with RTO with phony azz smiles on people faces on flagshlit. Then we have our blockhead CEO with his fuhking annual review saying we made 32 billion last year from his fuhking basement while telling people to RTO.

I just had this same discussion with my manager. Told him I was in the ho-e 10% easy with 7% inflation and the increase in healthcare and they thank me with zilch. Plus…the fact that we are locked in on healthcare now with no way to change plans if we needed to.

Every point I had was rebutted with bull sh-t. At first I thought I was going to have to just leave my team but now I will be leaving the bank entirely.

F*ck this place.

Personally I'd much rather have the stock reward, it's a lot better in the long run. Hurts if you need the money now, though. Would be great if we were given a choice of which to take.

I wonder how long it will take the great unwashed masses of Bank of America sheeple to realize they getting BOHICA.

your and mine bonus was given to 314 bankers who were promoted to MD positions. This company is a joke. Bumper year and yet no pay hike no bonus. and when you talk about this to your manager they have a different story to tell.

No cash bonus. You get stocks but only if you hang around for 4 years. And even then you get 1/4 of that every year for 4 years.
