A coworker was in Alpharetta but got their walking papers. Alpharetta might be a 'go-forward' location, but he was in the wrong location for the BU he worked in.
Alpharetta is a go forward site, just show up when the great return comes.
Lets be real. budgets are getting approved with a specific expense reduction task. Happens every year. BUs are consolidating under a new Bank Org and that will come with reductions and job eliminations. Much of the corporate functions have already been slimmed down.
If you are in a BU, take your career in your own hands. Dont wait for the hammer to fall.
RTO Feb 7!! swipe your badges several times daily!!
A post here some time ago indicated 200% certain that Alpharetta was closing in 2020. So much for rumors you read on this board. Alph may be severely staff depleted or working from home. I wrote that driving the parking lot a month ago (as a nostalgia visit) showed only about 40 cars and almost none in the three tier garage. So staff could be light there.
What meetings have occurred this week? I haven’t heard anything yet
I know an astronaut who got the "come to NJ or GTFO". Its happening folks...
You should always be looking for your next gig. You can't trust employers these days. Timing up your se essence payout and the next gig is the tricky part.
Anyone hear if the so called Astronauts will be allowed to continue working remotely or be laid off if not located by an office
Anyone know what BU?
Happy Groundhog Day! Happy Lincoln's birthday! Happy Valentine's Day!
And the Fiserv favorite: HAPPY GET THE F*CK OUT Day!
Well, it IS almost February. I'll paraphrase Oprah: "You get a a RIF and YOU get a RIF and YOU get a RIF and YOU get a RIF, everybody gets a RIF!!!"
