@cquh+1f1BgzR9 than come one down or up depending on where you're from. But if you're looking for Job security..Mexico would be your best option.

What's the job security in Wilmington like for skilled salaried positions. Does anybody know?

Maybe if we didn't pay so much money for broom holders we could get a raise. I mean who would've ever thought a broom holder could cost up wards of $1500 a piece.

Ge wages cannot compete with 10-15% inflation and increased cost of living due to Wilmington becoming a retiring/relocation from North hot spot. Noone that is not native can afford to move here. Good luck filling 80 spots.

@5nap+1f1BgzR9 come on down we are about to hire 80 people. HR is desperate and can't hire anyone. This has turned into a retirement state.

I think I'd trade the 2% raises for the sun and sand tbh. It's a good location.

Ha, it's almost like corporations are going to pay you as little as possible because they can. North Carolina is a good "pro-business" state, this is what everyone down there wants and votes for!

There has been a lot of movement in Aviation since late last year and into the start of this year in salary. They are jockeying for position in preparation for “The Big Split” beginning next year.

They are coming to a plant near you. Expect wage freezes and market base wage.
