Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Digital Life to Brinks

Wanted to report the change-over, as I was pleasantly surprised. I did all the upfront research on maybe using Simplisafe, Ring, etc. and their cost versus a "free" conversion. Buying all new cameras, locks, motion detector and window sensors would be a tad expensive, so I went with Brinks. The tech arrived on time, placed new cameras, synced all sensors and locks. Placed a new control panel and helped setup the new alarm.com app. I will say that the camera works quite well, much better that my old one from DL. Notifications are very crisp and tell me the type of alert - car, person, animal, etc. Overall, very impressed so far.

Yes the cost remained the same and I locked in for 3 years. After that I can move to a cheaper company.

ATT did not think their DL thoroughly way back when. Yes, it will mean layoffs, but at least they did (so far) a good thing with this offer. Just my 2 cents.

How in the devil can Brinks make money on DL if T couldn't? This does not compute!

They keep the SAME monthly cost as when you had digital life, whatever level you were paying for. Plus, got two new outdoor cameras, panel, etc.

T believes that competence is not relevant. All about monopoly, grifting, and cooking them books

Any questions? Ask horseface why he was CEO and you weren't.
