and for benefits was "granted" 6 weeks a year in away time. Is that good? Not sure who to ask, thanks!

Band 5, hired in as 4 weeks vacay,10 sick days, plus all bank holidays, think that's an additional 11.
BAND 5 gets 20 days PTO, 10 days sick standard
When promoted from band 6 to band 5, I didn’t get a raise. I lost over time and monthly incentives BUT, I got an extra week of vacation which brought me to 4 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of sick. (I gained 1 week PTO in total). I don’t even think it’s negotiable. You do get the option to buy an extra week off each year. Manager and business needs discretion.
Band 5 and I get 4 weeks vacation and 2 weeks sick and personal time. 6 total plus a few floating holidays.
It could be 3 weeks of vacation, 2 weeks of sick time (2 personal days / 8 sick days) and an additional week of PTO that you can buy. Total 6 weeks, that's pretty standard for the bank, depending on your department you can't take time off during certain times, so make sure to schedule time off ahead.
Band 5s and above get 6 weeks. I believe band 3 and above is their manager's descretion and 25 years or more 7 weeks.
If the 6 weeks includes sick time then it is pretty standard based on level at the bank.
Wow that's really good. I've been here a long time and do not have six weeks.
6 weeks vacation? For a new hire?
