Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Never too old to leave here?

It doesn’t surprise me that everyone who has the opportunity is leaving Honeywell. Some have even gone to places where they will be paid less. I wouldn't mind leaving and getting paid less if I'm given the opportunity to progress faster.

However, what really surprises me is that even those who have very little time left until retirement are leaving as well.

I'm in my mid-40's and the interviews are stacking up. Only a matter of time now.

My opinion also when, years ago, I laid myself off and called it a retirement rather than work another day at this dysfunctional shjt show.

I have been doing regular interviews. Consistently offered equal to a bit less than i make as b4 in florida. I will find a good fit. Meanwhile i work side hustles that pay well and i enjoy.

Don't cut yourself short, there's no need to leave and get paid less. I left last month at age 57, better pay, better benefits and WFH
