Any News About Raises?

Bonuses were big this year (for NW). Does anybody hear any rumors about the raises coming up? A hint was dropped in a meeting that pay adjustments may be coming, but I never know whether to trust that. If anyone has a little foreknowledge, please share!

My area is definitely having retention problems. As far as I know, retirements are not the biggest part of the problem, though there have been some. It’s people jumping ship to other companies or promoting up
as other vacancies are created.

Congratulations. Glad someone got a great raise. Is your area having retention problems and retirements?

Just an update: mine was HUGE. I haven’t gotten a raise like that since the early 1990s. Well over the 7.5 percent inflation rate. Guess our results may vary.

Thanks for responding. I have a bottom number. It’s not 7.5 percent. If they don’t meet it I’m resigning. It SHOULD be at least 7.5, but I’m not expecting miracles considering the greedy way most companies have been acting over the last 20 years or so. But I weigh against the massive number of changes over the last year/year and a half. If a company is going to be that demanding I’m not going to roll over and play dead. I’m stressed out and it’s about to get worse. Yassa Massa is not in my vocabulary.

Higher raises than previous years but still not out pacing 7.5% inflation so net loss to all.
