Thread regarding Pearson VUE layoffs

Anyone know about the annual raise?

Does anyone think the annual raise will be higher than the standard 2.2%?
VUE made an 18% increase in profit last year. Test centers were responsible for this. VUE carries the company financially bringing in 40% of the company revenue and the test centers carry VUE.

The federal contractor rates help very much. I have been with the company for awhile and I'd never heard of any relationship to federal contractor rates until late last year. It's a good thing although it had to be mandated or it wouldn't have happened.
Pay is still equal or less than certain retail so it's just a leveling out.
Most of the new hires give me a headache. Anyone who applies gets hired so there is going to be fallout.
I wish more effort were made to retain proven good employees. In the long run this would be beneficial for the company too.

Don’t expect anything out of the ordinary here. At least the federal contractor rates brought pay to a decent level. With that being said, recent hires have been hit or miss with most being pretty terrible.

I wouldn't count on much if you are in a test center. You are expendable so nothing will be done to keep you. The
