Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Ukraine and Russia

How is IBM exposed to Russia and Ukraine? Do we have 'real' operations there and is there going to be any impact on the bottom line? I've went through the 10K report but I am unable to find the connection - the execs were not forthcoming in terms of commenting the risk. What do you think?

Let's break ties with monsters forever.

Honestly just look at the brutality they are doing right now.

From the sheer distruction standpoint it's on the same level with German crimes in the WWII. I am not saying it's the same given what happened to may folks Germans targeted but from the distruction standpoint this is horrible.

Elephant in the room is most likely Russian IBM Mainframes. I assume IBM will not sell new Mainframes or upgrades going forward. But what about the existing ones? And what about SW and SW maintenance? And what about HW maintenance, security updates, ...

I hope IBM will stop ALL of this? I was unable to find a clear description of the IBM actions taken. I am less worried about IBM revenue and profit than Putin pariah state conducting war crimes (backed by IBM technology).
