We all already know the pattern - they cut costs and lay off people, after that the survivors are under even more pressure until the next round of layouts and until the final collapse. It is already clear to everyone that it will not get any better here. I’m not trying to justify Belk's actions, but staying here is your own decision. I don't know many people who were looking for a new job and couldn't get it. Are there any? If there are, I am sure that their number is very small. It may sound ugly, but it’s not worth the headache to stay here and complain about things that won’t change. I received the offer only 15 days after starting looking for a new job.

The price being drop from the retails because the customer like buy things cheaper but not too expensive. They put the price too high ,we don’t have money to get anything that we want. Sometimes people don’t have too much money and the customers find the same item online is cheaper .but the medicine inside the retail store make it not goods because when you sick and you buy things not work that make your body worse.
Most retail workers are stupid and have low self-esteem and dignity. That is why they stay and put up with Belk cheap and abusive lifestyle. If you enjoy these stupid Belk company culture of abusive management styles by all mean stay to the end boneheads!
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” as someone said years ago. I agree 100% with you! Belk company knows you all need a job and do not have the choice to leave so Belk treats you like cockroaches human being with no dignity and no respect! You are the one to blame and Belk laughs at you everyday. Wise up before it is too late. I am here only for entertainment and see how many stupid Belk workers willing to put up with this?
