Sadly, Blue Prism's best days are now behind them now that SS&C has acquired them. They'll tell you that it's business as usual, but give it a couple of months and watch how some of the top level management will suddenly announce early retirement or just resign. They'll also say that they want to promote from within, but watch how the top level management positions will be filled by someone hand picked by the cult known as SS&C. Best of luck to the Blue Prism employees.

Correct, assuming BP hadn't done some of that work already. Blue Prism was/is $100M/year business - UIPath is about $800M/ARR - good luck catching up, especially if the AWD team is involved. Channel partner strategy primarily with blue prism, someone is probably thinking, yea let's push our bpm platform through that channel... what a joke.

But for b.p. execs, good job, you got a deal done with the devil.

SS&C likes to strip-bare companies and improve that bottom-line, keep the ratings agencies singing their tune and using gearing to increase borrowing and buy more companies. SS&C rationale isn't crystal clear and the forward planning needed to ensure optimal growth as opposed to strip-down staff, systems growth is painful for those on the ground. Blue Prism is not going to workout to be the best buy based on the sales-channels (partners) used and the technology stack not moving quick enough or innovative enough to keep pace and lead. Shame all-round.
