What does HR do with employee complaints? I know a man who addressed them with a valid complaint of discrimination but it was literally just ignored.

The head of ehs is a joke. We all know it.
Both EHS and HR are run by laughable leaders and now they are best buds !?!?!?! Neither one has a F***ing clue what they are doing and their departments are going down the toilet.
Oh yeah that one is climbing that ladder no matter who she needs stomp on along the way, so don't stand in her way or you will be cut and her followers will come for you.

I've got a certain EHS VP I'd like to report along with her merry band of Murphy misfits she hired. Keeping my mouth shut is like eating sand. The only way I can ever say anything is through my VPN.

Let's be crystal clear. The anonymous ethics help line is ABSOLUTELY NOT anonymous. I overheard some managers yapping about the anonymous help line and laughing about who called in a "tip" because THE MESSAGE WAS FORWARDED TO THEM WITH THE PHONE NUMBER. Let that sink in. You are not even safe anonymously!

Oh it's a good idea go look for that help in HR. We all about that D&EYE here. A female whose last name I couldn't pronounce (and could actually do her job) dared complain to HR about a useless heap engineer for his 8th harassment allegation. Result? She gone and scumbag still here drawing big money to sleep at his desk. We sing to you platitudes about equity while protecting the vile. But don't worry we'll fix this by letting less experienced incompetent opportunists step over you in your career so we can plaster them on billboards to hide the fact we have all the diversity in leadership of JCs frat house. Can you be a minority when you're a Kennedy?

Some managers layoff after a complaint is put in at HR, strategically a few months later.
Consult a lawyer - HR exists to protect the company and put the interests of the company first. HR is not there to represent or protect you. Don’t tell HR anything unless it’s under the advisement of your attorney.
The government won’t do anything…
The HR Dept at Apache is full of paper filers and paper pushers.
Raise legitimate concerns to the Gov’t.
