We had two folks at our core (not sales reps) IRIF'ed that we could not afford to lose since we are already way short staffed.

Wow, so about 20 people were laid off across the whole company? Most of which were low performing sales reps? The insanity of this company! I don’t know how we are going to survive another day.

BDS- I'm sure there is more to your story or it is just made up. You also don't sound very angry about the situation if supposedly you were ready for a windfall of deals. My guess is the latter but thanks for playing.

I was IRIF'd. consistently a top performing BDS with a massive pipeline for 2022 while juggling major accounts who will surely leave XBS now that their emails will go unanswered and issues unresolved. It seems this decision was not based on performance at all. In fact from the inside it's hard to figure out what the criteria was. Feels like a sinking ship and they tossed me on to a life boat.

IRIF = Involuntary Reduction In Force (layoffs)

VRIF = Voluntary Reduction In Force (someone signs up to take a package and leave the company. X stopped doing these years ago.)

Does anyone know if today was the only action, or will there be more through the end of the month?

A few sales reps in my core got IRIF’D today.

I guess XBS is still finding value in having a President, COO, CFO, SVP of Sales, 2 VP of Sales, Director of Sales, Director of Production in the smallest XBS core possible.

The salary of those 8 people make up 12-15% of the total profit this core sends to Xerox annually. It’s hilarious honestly.

They maybe combine 120 hours of total work combined weekly… Xerox mind set is to continue to cut anyone making under $60k.

For all of those who are left.. your boss is not your friend. You are a number and will be replaced the next day. Sales.. get on LinkedIn.. Service.. I would drop a B405 on my foot during install and take the golden ticket.

My final interview is this week.. cannot wait to give my notice to my “boss”

Given the attrition, I don't know why they felt like they needed an IRIF.
