I’m debating whether to accept an average offer or wait for Seagate to pay me to leave.
However, I have conflicting info regarding severance pay. One person told me he that there has been a change in severance policy.
Is that true? Can someone tell me for sure what the package is like now?

I found it a few years ago by following links starting at the internal HR page.
In the US I believe it is 1 week of severance per year of service worked.
Look up the policy. It's not hard.
