Unless it's a small family business, no company is going to care about you, consider you to be family, or make your well-being its priority. You are nothing but an expendable asset to your employer. They will see you as a liability and happily get rid of you the moment somebody cheaper is willing to do your work. That's the reality. As long as you expect more than that from a company, you're setting yourself up for disappointment and most likely unemployment.

Sure, Frank really cares a lot, about what....who knows! Probably the $$$ he is siphoning from Fiserv. Probably getting his name in the media for the Mets and veterans. However, we know he doesn't care for us lowly employees whether OFD or OFS. We are equally treated like garbage and expendable. People are leaving at rates unheard of. Maybe the grand scheme is for everyone to quit, close all the sites except Berkley Heights and only hire there.
Cynical view, I am glad I don’t live my life seeing everything and everyone as uncaring. I do believe Frank cares, I do believe Fiserv is a good company. I am not naive or unrealistic, but I know the people behind the name so maybe you should actually get 30min with Frank to make up your own mind, versus listening to some people who have an agenda and find it sport to come here with untruthful comments.
The people on here who constantly corporate simp/brown nose companies are going to get a dose of reality check when they finally get laid off with no warning. The bigger the company, the less they care for its people no matter what they might say about what a "great big and happy family" they have. It's sad that, despite all the sudden layoffs and ultimatums Frank has given everyone in this company over the past year or more, there are still people who come on here to defend him as his knights in shining armor even though they get no rewards out of doing so other than feeling good about being lucky enough to not get laid off this time around. What a sad world these people live in.
Idgaf if my employer/manager/coworkers give a sh-t about me. Did my check hit my account on time? Am I getting skills that will earn me more money in the future? That's what I care about
From the Frank and Guy level sure. Your team and your manager should care about you. They should cover for you when your kid is sick. Your manager should have your back. Your manager should give you an extra day off if you really need it. You should be able to work from home if you are not feeling the best. They should recognize your contributions, maybe take you out to lunch a couple of times a year.
If your team/manager doesn't care about you, the problem is probably you.
