Stop stating things as fact that you can't know to be true and scaring people for no good reason. Stop speculating and stressing over this and wait to see what's going to happen. There are enough things in the world today to worry about, don't add more to it ahead of time. Just my two cents.

With the amount of overlap between Change and Optum layoffs are, indeed, inevitable. Convince yourself otherwise at your own peril. And if you're in any shared service organization, or a competing product line, you'd be nuts not to seek something else. Then again, perhaps the DOJ prevails and does the industry a favor by nixing this money grab. Also -- what will happen to the various payer-focused businesses when CHNG is absorbed into the 800 lb gorilla of the payer universe? Do they want their lifeblood data in the hands of Optum/UHG? Common sense, man.
Have you ever been part of an acquisition? Something tells me you have not. If this deal goes through, people will lose their jobs. That’s a fact.
Does anyone know how much the severance package is and if you can volunteer for it?
