Evolving... from a $300 per share company to a $43 per share company under horrible "leadership". People take jobs, drive our company into the dirt, get their bonuses and head off into the sunset. Pathetic. I've seen 4 major layoffs. Sorry you're tired of explaining to your minions.
Another worthless sh!tpost about "inevitable" layoffs, like most posts here for the last 2+ years.
I don’t think layoffs will come, at least not in the near future and as long as the business continues to evolve. It seems a lot of associates who think layoffs will happen are the call center people; but it’s at no fault of their own. They’re not exposed to the bigger picture. They only know credit card servicing. Everyone needs to change their frame of mind and understand ALL the products offered: credit cards, savings, personal loans, installment loans, buy now pay later, etc. people see the credit card side of the business potentially slowing but that’s because that world is also slowing (data shows millennials and gen Z prefer BNPL over CCs) while the other products are gaining speed. Care center folks need to understand their roles will change and the type of products they service may change as well. Losing CC clients absolutely hurts, but it’s not the end of the world as the other product suites grow. Layoffs and other attrition should not occur as long as everyone transitions with the time. Also - can we stop asking about lay offs on here and in tow halls? It’s exhausting to have to keep answering the same question over and over again.
