Teamworks says that anyone experiencing COVID symptoms should stay at home for 5 days, regardless of vaccination status.
Are these supposed to be PTO days, or WFH days?
(Of course we'd all like it to be WFH, but I'm wondering what it really is.)

I’m going to claim new exposure every five days. RTO issue resolved.
It’s so ridiculous that they removed that. I remember it used to say something about being able to work remotely (if your role allows it, etc). Now it’s unclear, and I think it’s on purpose so they can do whatever screws the employees most.
But Our Workplace right now under the FAQ “I tested positive for Covid, what should I do?” says:
If you normally work in the office and feel well enough to work, contact your manager to discuss whether you were eligible to perform your work remotely.
So let me get this straight, as the website says now, if I test positive for Covid but feel well I should still be working. But if I just have a Covid exposure, and feel well, I would need to take PTO?
Why would I not just say I’m too sick to work, if I get that positive result?
It doesn't say either way.
Common sense would tell me that if you are sick and can't work, it's PTO.
If you just have symptoms but feel fine to work and they don't want you in the building, then WFH.
When I was in this situation, I emailed my manager that I had COVID symptoms listed on the screening chart which says do not enter the facility. I said I felt like I can work and would be working from home. Asked them to let me know if i misunderstood the screening requirement and I did not hear back on that issue.
Not every manager may be that lenient, but communicating your thought process will allow them to advise on how you interpret the requirements of working in the office and the self-screening which tells you to stay out of the office in some circumstances.
However they can fu-k you over, make your health worse, your financial position worse (and by default pad Chuckie’s pockets more), make it inconvenient, more stressful, etc. for you, that is how they will handle it.
