Does anyone who is NOT a media troll have any news or updates to share? Thanks

Does Higher Ed Dive count?
Does David Halperin (Republic Report) count?
"I'm here for facts, not emotion and another agenda. Will probably find another source." You come to a website called "The Layoff" for facts? This site says on its home page "TheLayoff.com is a simple discussion board for all of us who would like to learn more about the rumors or possibility of job cuts in our company."
@1fss+1fYC6WwL, the situation is dire for the Zovio, but there is an outside possibility that for some who stay on--and don't get fired, that they could become State of Arizona employees. If you live in CO, Guild Education is hiring.

Of course the media can be a good source of information. But the media person on this thread has a negative agenda.

The irony of your question… isn’t the main way people get news is from the media?
At any rate, how can there be an update when the deception continues? Even after the ruling came out to hold Zovio/Ashford accountable, nothing was done except a slap on the wrist with a fine. UAGC only moved positions around to keep those in power that were also a part of the deception by pushing enrollment with the “do whatever it takes” attitude (even if it means turning the cheek when a paper is plagiarized). A particular dean who’s inaccuracies in statements during testimony demonstrate blatant knowledge of and contribution to the deception still exists. That person was only shifted to a different program. People are being kept in leadership positions so that they can control the perceptions of faculty who, for some, the only allegiance to their role is that they get to work from home. They (leadership) control the narrative of the news that’s shared. Just as before they were hit with the major layoff in October 2019, the leadership never once gave indication to faculty that there was any reason to be concerned. They simply focused on the excitement of “how great it will be when things change”. Even after the news of Zovio having to make cuts hit the media in June of that year. Faculty were not made aware of that news until they were called into a meeting in October letting them know they were being cut - 290 or so of them. How is that fair and transparent? They knew what was going to happen 4 months PRIOR!
Faculty have no knowledge of the depth of what’s happened because it’s kept from them. They aren’t given transparency. They are given the hope that things will get better - just like they’re always told. As long as they keep those deans around who were leaders in deception, UAGC faculty won’t escape this without scarring.
