Any other regions out there have new tm's starting at $17.00 hr instead of $15.00?
All I know is that I have been around for over 15 years and my value keeps on dropping like it did about 2-3 years ago, when we went from $11.00 to $15.00 starting pay for new tm's and they gave the rest of tm's a $1.00 raise and TL's $2.00.
I guess you could say at least I got a raise.

I work in the NA region and it is true that they are starting people at $17.00. This has caused some problems with people that have been working for over a year and are at 16.40. The answer from leadership is just bump them up to 17.00. That is not good because the new tm will more than likely be eligible for a raise before that team member that has been there for a little over a year. Now the people in the middle such as myself that has been here for awhile. Our value is decreasing again like it did when everyone got bumped up to 15.00 and we all got a dollar and TL's got 2 dollars.
I doubt a Union could do any worse for us than WFM has done in recent times.
Yeah “unionize” so you can get a false promise of higher wages to only then pay your union rep. It’s the biggest scam out there.
But to answer your question- pretty sure it has to do with cost of living.
UNIONIZE the NA is a sinking ship make it happen. If you are against it you are foolish you have nothing to lose.
Stinks Of desperation. That’s region is falling apart. STL’s quit, getting fired, taking loa’s. Coordinators getting axed. Operations Coordinators stepping down. Writing is on the wall.
It's $15-$17 I think it leans mostly to $15.
