Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fiserv sucks out your very soul

I'm guaranteeing you that most of us who have been here for the past ten years or more have had years cut from our lives because of it.

Sounds like the perfect time for a cyber attack. No one can get on the system to stop it.

So this week in Fiserv is trash, all developers lost all access to servers. Someone decided all existing groups and access needed to be redone based on requests. Very few people across the company can do work. But we are in the office being productive 🤬🤬🤬

I drove to work just to be in online video calls. None of my team was even in the state where I worked. Being forced to go back in the office was an insult, especially since I had been there a year and proved myself.

They truly hate their workers. The new CEO Frank ruined that place with his machiavellan style. We were bleeding clients because of being understaffed. Now it will be worse.

Oh, Fiserv profited the end of 2023 the highest amount ever--- 17 BILLION in profit!!

Layoffs are now happening in the government sector. A sh---y app called Authenticare was used by nurses and caregivers to visit medicaid and medicare people in their homes. Well, turns out the app is trash so all the state government customers we had went to our competitors. I bet their apps were amazing because First Data Government Solutions is too cheap to make decent products.

Ironically, a Director manages Aurhenticare so she didn't lose her job and neither did her team. They went right to other teams that are severely understaffed and fired them. I was one of them. A few other colleagues were cut too.

That place got so toxic it was affecting my health. They forced all of us wfh people back to the office. People drove HOURS 1 way to the office. Management didn't care and let them suffer. Contracts weren't being abided by Fiserv because since covid is now over, those hired to wfh are no longer eligible. Fiserv ruined business relationships with Contracting companies; now the reputation is Fiserv/FDGS is a terrible company to work with.

Working for them turned into endentured servitude. My boss never said anything positive and only contacted me to tell me something "after the fact." I never EVER want to work for a woman ever again. I became a nervous wreck, always worried when she would snap at me.

Once that sh---y Frank Boogerano CEO started cracking down, it became a toxic hellhole. Badging in and out to count ever second you worked. Checking when you plugged your laptop into the network. Video cameras of people badging in and out.

Abusive project managers were constantly excused because "they're under so much pressure," which meant abuse became rampant. Anyone with a manager title or higher was allowed to micromanage and shout at others and be generally abusive without consequence.

This was one of the worst places I ever worked. I'm glad I'm free though because everyone there who wasn't a manager or higher was absolutely miserable. Now my mental health will heal thanks to me being free.

To be honest, I think the CEO Frank is going to dismantle and sell off what's left of the company. He has no interest in preserving anything.

When I was contracting in Omaha, First Data was one of the companies we all knew to avoid. A couple of decades down the road, and First Data buys Fiserv.......I knew the writing was on the wall.

Working for First Data is depressing.

“So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working ay first data, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that’s on the worst day of my life.”–

'If this is such a great place to work, why are so many people leaving? I heard of 4 resignations yesterday'. Weekly in our division we have resignations. I see no new bodies coming on board anyone else??

If this is such a great place to work, why are so many people leaving? I heard of 4 resignations yesterday. These were not RTO or GTFO people.

For me it was mainly the requirement to live in an overpriced shithole to commute to a sh---y office to be in teams meetings with coworkers in different states.
