@2rkl What about the time Fritz publicly stated to the employees during a townhall that the UP WOULD NOT BE DOING PSR? That was during a January townhall, which is the same year he started it. The CEO lied to the men and women of the UP, plain and simple. PSR was not forced onto him. It was an operational decision made by the CEO himself. The board can recommend operational changes, but they cannot execute such changes. If they had that ability, then the CEO position would be pointless. Everything going on at the UP is the CEO's own doing. The board does have an equal share in the blame as well. Please remember that PSR was a choice, and always will be.
@2rkl no the problem is Lance, nice try
Lance is turning UP into Enron Don’t drop the soap
Fritz is doing what a ceo is paid to do. Raising profits, raising stock prices and cutting expenses. The problem is our board of directors
Which CEO was the alcoholic? He is my favorite.
As much as I thought UP was bad with Jim Young I rather be working for a company back then vs the shithole it has become with Fritz.

YEeT Yeet,
Giggidy, Giggidy,
To the douche that deleted my last comment. Prob a Foamer Conductor huh.
Jim Young was rr of the year in 2013 . Started working there in 1978. Wow.
I love Oliver Ames who served from 1866-1871. Great guy, real people person, and very down to earth.
I’m a big fan of John Duff (1873-1874) and Horace Burt (1897-1904).
Jim Young is the best in my 30 plus years with UP. PSR was forced on Fritz by the board, so I have an incomplete on him.
Mr. Young hands down! He cared for the employees. The UP wasn't the greatest when he was CEO either, but it was NOTHING like it is now. Fritz showed up in 2000, and became CEO in 2015. Since 2015, what exactly has he done for the company to male it better? That answer is nothing. There's no way I would even remotely consider him a good CEO. I didn't like him in 2000, and I really don't care for him now.
If it wasn't for PSR, fritz would probably be up there, too.
From what I’ve heard from people that have been at UP for 30+ years, Jim Young was one of the best and Fritz hands down is the worst.
