"Nobody owes you anything and don't expect anything from anyone" is the advise my father(a Boomer) always gave me - why are Boomers reneging on the very thing they taught the 'kids' not to do?!"

Yea, but they do owe you if they throw you out of a company, while they keep their jobs & are over 55 (i.e. CEO Rometty (now gone) & Gershon (Sr VP of HR also gone) who gave the orders to chop all the Dinobabies heads). Do you have any idea how much all these salespeople brought in per year - some up to $700-800 million each to pay the salaries of the people laying them off. You think these millennials can develop the rapport with clients and sell the way these older, more experienced seasoned older workers could? Never. They're too busy texting and will never make a call. Believe me. I witnessed it.

This is all on Ginni Rometty (whose despicsble rhetoric led to the mass forings of 100K workers), Diane Gershon (ex-VP of HR who left in 2020 to teach at Harvard - do they not vet people?) & CFO James Kavanaugh (inventir of the term "dinobabies"). No one knows the details of this case. It won't be litigated until a Judge approves it based on the filings. IBM should be held accountable because they have a duty of care. If anything, they should do a thorough vetting of any employee before laying them off to see how it will impact them emotionally, physically & most important financially. No one knows the lengths this poor man went to, to find work or the financial resources he had or IBM depleted him of. There's too many unknowns. It's tragic all around. I nver judge anyone. Trying to find work in your late 50s is so hard. God rest his soul & prayers to his wife and family.

"While tragic, it also isn't IBM's fault. No more than it would be a woman's fault if they break up with a man after a long term relationship and the dude does that. "

And this is what you get when you hire millennial HR execs. If there was any doubt IBM trolls these boards, I think this puts it to rest.

In 2015 IBM had a mandatory 2 day program for FLMs in which they were trained and certified to interview and manage Millennials. The stage was being set
